Tour Overview
Sailing between Aswan and Luxor represents one of the most rewarding ways to experience ancient Egypt, and doing so during Easter adds a particular warmth and natural beauty to the journey. This 4-day Nile Cruise Luxor Aswan route opens in Aswan with the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, then sails north through Kom Ombo, Edfu and into Luxor’s East and West Banks.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Aswan Airport or the train station, you will be welcomed and transferred to your Nile cruise vessel. After lunch on board, begin exploring Aswan with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, an impressive example of ancient Egyptian craftsmanship. Continue with a motorboat ride to Agilkia Island, home to the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Begin the day with a visit to Kom Ombo Temple, a remarkable double sanctuary dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. Continue sailing toward Edfu, where a traditional horse-drawn carriage takes you to the Temple of Horus, renowned for being one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temples. After exploring its impressive halls and detailed reliefs, return to the cruise ship.

Discover Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious complexes of ancient Egypt, and admire its magnificent Great Hypostyle Hall. Continue to Luxor Temple, famous for its grand statues and fascinating history along the Nile’s East Bank. In the evening, you can optionally attend the Sound and Light Show for a different perspective on Luxor’s ancient heritage.

Explore the Valley of the Kings, the ancient burial ground of Egypt’s pharaohs and one of the country’s most important archaeological sites. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, admired for its striking architecture, followed by a stop at the Colossi of Memnon. After the sightseeing tour, transfer to Luxor Airport or the train station for your departure.

Your place is secured with a 25% deposit. During busy festive seasons (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), a 50% deposit is required. The remaining amount can be paid before you travel or settled in cash when you arrive.
All credit card transactions require a signed authorization letter. The signature must match the one on your credit card and passport.
Approved refunds are issued quickly to the original payment method. No-show bookings cannot be refunded. A standard 6% bank processing fee is deducted from every refund.
Prices are based on two guests sharing a room. Solo travelers pay a single supplement. All properties are carefully chosen for comfort and quality. Rates remain subject to market changes.
Domestic flight times and prices are approximate and may be adjusted by the airlines. International flights are not included unless clearly stated.

If an official travel restriction is issued by a government or airline, you will receive either a full refund or a travel credit for future use. Only airline fees and bank charges will be retained.
