This Christmas Nile Cruise sails from Luxor to Aswan over five days, timed for the quieter winter season when the river feels calm and the ship carries its own festive atmosphere. Itinerary
A representative meets arriving travelers at Luxor Airport or train station for the transfer to the ship and check-in. After lunch on board, Karnak Temple opens the sightseeing, its Great Hypostyle Hall home to 134 columns reaching 23 meters high across more than 200 acres. The Temple of Luxor follows, connected to Karnak by the 2.7-kilometer Avenue of Sphinxes, with dinner, a belly dance show and a festive disco on board in the evening.

Breakfast precedes an excursion to the Valley of the Kings, burial ground of 62 pharaohs across three dynasties, followed by the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut rising in three terraces at Deir el-Bahari. The ship sails to Esna over lunch and afternoon tea, with a Captain’s Welcome Cocktail Party and disco following dinner on board.

Breakfast comes as the ship sails toward Edfu, home to the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt, dedicated to Horus with 36-meter pylons and detailed hieroglyphic walls. Kom Ombo follows, the country’s only perfectly symmetrical temple, honoring Sobek and Haroeris with reliefs of surgical instruments and a nilometer, before the ship continues south beneath the Aswan Bridge.

A full day in Aswan opens with the Unfinished Obelisk, still lying in its ancient quarry, intended to stand over 42 meters tall. A boat crossing to Agilkia Island leads to Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis and relocated to save it from flooding, with an overnight stay docked in Aswan.

A 25% deposit locks in your booking. For festive periods such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance can be paid before departure or settled in cash on arrival.
Credit card payments require a signed authorization letter. The signature must match the one on your credit card and passport.
Approved refunds are returned promptly to the original payment method. No-show bookings cannot be refunded. A standard 6% bank processing fee applies to every refund.
Rates are based on double occupancy. Solo travelers pay a single supplement. All properties are carefully selected for comfort and quality. Prices may change according to market conditions.
