The day opens at Saqqara with the Djoser Pyramid, the world’s first major stone structure, before continuing to the Great Pyramids of Giza. The Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving Ancient Wonder, stands alongside Khafre and Menkaure, with the Sphinx close by.
